C.S.P.A. Electronic Voice Phenomena samples:

Within our organization, we use digital voice recorders to record and, on occasion, capture Electronic Voice Phenomena, otherwise known as EVP. All members of C.S.P.A. get a turn at using a digital voice recorder and training in EVP-capture protocols and methods.

Samples from 2005

The following EVP has been classifed as a Class-A EVP by members of a well-known EVP research organization.
* Private home - 2005 - (no little children present or living in the residence) - "Mommy...."

* Private home - 2005 - Slaps/bangs in apartment when no one was at the residence:

* Private home - 2005 - Big bang - again, nobody was home and no windows were open (patience: the bang comes at the end of this .wav file)

* Private home - 06.30.2005 - Slaps/bangs and then a "hmmm" recorded in an empty apt. Residents were at work/class at the time

Samples from 2007

* Private home - 10.26.2007 - This next one is HARD to hear - you may have to turn your volume WAY up to hear it -- the sound is just before our investigator asks "Are you..."

* Private home - 10.26.2007 - There were only two people present in this dining room/living room at the time of this recording - the female investigator asking the question and a male investigator who wasn't talking. She asks, "Do you have a message?" then an unidentified female voice begins saying something about a table

* Private home - 2008 - third floor - "Get out"

* Private home - 2008 - Our investigator asks for a knock; gets it (second knock at end)

* Private home - 2008 - Male voice answers "no."

* Private home - 2008 - Whisper

* Private home - 2008 - Strange man's voice
